Sale of the High School Endowment.
Mr William Carpenter sold at the Borough Council Chambers this morning the lease for 21 years of a number of sections qf land; being portion of the Thames High School Reserve atTe Aroha. There was a good attendance. The bidding was spirited and good prices were realised. Thirteen lots were offered and twelve of them were sold, ten of which fetched considerably over the upset price. The following is a list of the lots, their acreage, upset rental, realised rental, and the purchasers :—
