Sunday.

A meeting of officers and delegates from the three Waikato Cavalry Troops takes place here on Thursday. Amongst other business they will make arrangements for the match between a ; Waikato'Cavalry team and a team chosen from thft Thames Scottish, which has challenged the Waikato Cavalry, and invited them to hold a match at the Thames. Five men will be cho.sen from each cavalry troop, and if the carbine be used by the cavalry the usual allowance of two points will be given by the Scottish. The match will take place at the end of the month or the beginning of June, but the final arrangements will be made on Thursday.
