The Kumara Murder Case.

The trial of David Hutcbinson for the murder of his wife at Kanieri was resumed yesterday morning' at the Supreme Court. The evidence showed that the prisoner had saved a gun and a bag of provisions from the burning house, and that be had hold of his wife's leg, but had not saved her.

The Judge summoned up in the prisoner's favor, and the jury retired at seven. At one o'clock in the morning brought in a verdict of not guilty. A nolle protequi was presented in the second indictment.
