This day. Ail Irishman named Henry Urquliart

was killed at the Lady Barkley sawmill yesterday through a tree falling on him.

A girl named Kathleen McCarthy was committed for trial to-day on a charge of concealment of birth. The young woman admitted that she had given birth to a still-born,child shortly after her arrival in the house, and acting on her statement the police found the body under the flooring of a water-closet attached to the house.
