This day.
Benjamin King, who formerly carried on an extensive butchering business herd died suddenly last night. The cause of death is believed to be apoplexy.
Payments of *he Property Tax amounting to, £2000 were received at the Wellington office yesterday. The first instalments were due to-day, but in nearly all cases both instalments were paid together.
