REUBEN PARR.

The manager reports on the 14th inst.: —Hopper level: Siqce the contractor

started (Saturday V sth) 23 feet has been driven on the line of reef. After driving seven feet we cut a soft channel of country, running at right angles from the reef, and which has thrown the reef out of its course. I think in a few feet more driving the reef will come round to its former course. The reef it the face is two feet wide, of promising looking quartz, carrying good minerals, and has a favorable appearance. I have cut the surface ground into eight sections for tributes, arid called tenders for the same.—W. N. Comee.
