The mine manager reports as follows : No. 2 level : I have forwarded a trial parcel of two loads of quartz to the battery for treatment from the vein junetioning with the Republic reef at the back of this level No. 8 level; The cross-cut on slide has been extended during the past week by two men. We struck a small leader crossing the face this morning containing some very nice mineral, which is very probably a portion of the Luck's All leader. I have the other two men driving through the slide to try again to discover the Republic reef. No. 1 level: I would recommend the Board to let oq tribute the " brown " and." blue " leaders, inclusive, in this level, commencing;; from the Hopeful boundary 110 feet east and to surface.—S.G-bibble.
