Sydney, This day. Belies of Burke and Wills. Three camels which belonged to the Burke and Wills Expedition in 1860—61, have been captured near Wilconnia, on the Darling river, in the north-west of this colony. Bbisbane, This day. ' The Queensland Banks hare reduced their rates of interests on deposits to two, three, and four per cent, for three, six, and twelre months respectively. Their rates of discount hare been reduced to 6, 7, and 8 per cent, for 3 and 4 months and beyond respectively. Mr Mclllwraith, Premier, will shortly proceed to England on business connected with the proposed Continental railway. It is announced that B. D. Morehead will be appointed Postmaster-General in place of Buzacott, who takes the position of editor of the Brisbane Courier.
