The failure ia announced to day of Jas. Buck and Co. Liabilities are set down at £80,000.
Sydney, This day. Sailed: Tararua for Auckland, yesterday.
Brisbane, This day. The Captain of the Government schooner reports there is a good harbor with a safe ancorage for steamers at Port Parker, in the Gulf of Carpentaria, the proposed terminus of the projected Trans-Continental railway.
