Thiiday. At a meeting of the Befcrm Association last night it wan thought desirable to hold a public meeting with a view of receiving suggestions to prevent the large exodus of people from Wellington. The Friendly Societies intend holding a great iete cm the Prince of Wales birthday. The Wabatipv, which leaves for Sydney this afternoon, takes 63 saloon and 160 steerage passengers.
