OLD GOLDEN CALF.
A few days ago I referred to the splendid indications met with in the lode at No. 3 level, near Caledonian boundary, and expressed a belief that the quartz would improve in quality when the lode was clear of the shde, , This has turned out to be the case, as to-day some nice looking Bold was seen in the lode, accompanied by other satisfactory indications. The news, of course, caused a flutter at the Corner, and shares, were ia demand, but difficult to be had. \•..
