VICTORIA.

This mine was again visited today, and I found that things were much the- tame as when I last reported. The lode has taken another bend to the northward, which puts it on its true course—viz., about due north and south. The lode, is still small, but is becoming more solid, and contains a large percentage of copper pyrites—a very good indication in this locality. No gold has yet been seen in the stone. The country continues first* class, and very good progress has been made, about twenty feet having been pat in during the past week. ' ">'
