NEW WHAU.
The new manager has. now got .the mine in ship-shape order, and under his control I trust that this hitherto grossly mismanaged mine will have a mead of prosperity. Some nice gold continues to be seen in the intermediate drive, and a marked improvement is noticeable ia the appearance of the reef at the bottom level. The quartz is of a better character for gold bearing and fairly mineralised.
