At a large meeting of miners, resolutions urgiDg the immediate appointment of a Mine Inspector, the formation of a Miners' Union, the establishment of a Miners' Sustenance .Fund, and requesting Government to publish a Mining Inspector's report for the year, and urging the Minister of Education to establish evening classes in connection with mining districts, were passed unanimously.
