CHRISTCHURCH.

; Saturday. THJfi KLEPTOMANIA CASE.

The Lyttelton kleptomania case was decided to day. Dr Bouse said he had farther examined the girl, and had found that since an accident to her head when she was six years old she had become hopelessly addicted to stealing. No coercive treatment|would be of any good, and it would be useless to send her to prison or to an anylam. Upon her father entering into a bond of £25 for the appearance of his child; if necessary, and a guarantee that the girl should not be allowed out unless somebody accompanied her, the case was dismissed.
