WELLINGTON.
This day.
At the Magistrate's Court Robert Andrews, charged with horsewhipping the Collector of Customs, was sentenced to six weeks hard labor. The prisoner pleaded extenuating circumstance, but when an enquiry was held after his dismissal from the customs McKellar, Collector of Customs, suppressed certain evidence in favor of him.
