NEW NORTH DEVON.
The contractors continue to make good progress through easy country. The tributers, Garvey and party, are driving on their lode at the intermediate level from winze. There is five or six.feet of good solid quartz showing gold, and yielding specimens and picked stone. The company's prospects are .certainly first class. At the 70 feet level the Alburnia have carried an auriferous lode abort five feet thick up to the boundary, while at the 160 feet within 100 feet of the boundary, the Alburnia are working on an exceedingly promising looking lode.
