BLENHEIM.
This day.
At a luncheon given by the Corporation to celebrate the opening of the railway into Blenheim, Mr Seymour, M.H.R., spoke briefly of the political situation, expressing full confidence in the present Ministry. He announced that instructions had been given for the survey of the railway extension to Awatere, and he hoped the contract would be carried out for the amount of the vote.
