THE BATTERIES.
The Moanatairi is at present crushing solely for the company for a good average yield. The Kuranui mill will commence to-morrow principally on tributers stuff. The company will also treat a small parcel from the stopes in Oddfellows'"section, near the Moanatairi boundary. The Herald is idle at present through the scarcity of water.' Since the stoppage reported last week there has been no delay at the Alburnia battery, and as winter is now close upon us it is hoped there will shortly .be an abundance of. power for all batteries working by water.
