The proprietors siill hate men cleaning out the drive, and work will be started on the Unicorn and other leaders immediatelj. It is proposed to let portions on tribute. In the early days of the goldield sereral of these lodes yielded what would now*a< days be considered fair returns, bat the excitement caused by the development of the riches of the Caledonian and other mines concentrated all attention in them* and extinguished many lesser lights, the Reubeu Parr amongst others.
