KURANUI HILL.
Driving on the Oddfellows lode at loir level is proceeding without any apparent change in its appearance. The quartz, from its dark color does not show gold, but the last crushing yielded a heavy return. 8 or 9 tons are on hand for crushing. Operations were commenced in one of the.upper levels on the stopes near the Moanatairi boundary.
