Last night. The Local ladutries Commis-
sion.
At the meeting of the Local Industries Commission Mr Wakefield was appointed Chairman, and it was resolved to send a circular to the various Chambers of Commerce asking them to make any suggestion they may consider necessary to aid the industries already iv existence, and for developing new ones.
This day.
At the Magistrate's Court this morning Wakeford, proprietor of the Bank Hotel, was fined £3 for selling spirituous liquors in the arcade during young Scott's walk.
