■V-■■■■■-■ This day. Titokowaru drove by the camp at Okato this morning on his way-to Parihaka, accompanied by about 30 of his immediate followers. About 200 more hare also passed this morning. A Railway Commission visjt Eketehuna, near Masterton yesterday, and after two hours delay proceeded to Woodville. The survey of Mongohae, the first of the deferred payment blocks has been completed, and it will be open at once for selection.
, A fire in High street early this morning totally destroyed the residence of John Stauper, solicitor. The house and furniture were insured in the South British for £600.
Young Scott started on his walk of 112 miles in 24 hours at 10 o'clock last night; at 245 this morning he had covered 25 miles,' and at 8 o'clock 50 were finished ; at 11.39 a.m. he had done 66 miles. Scott is walking well and in good form. 2 to 1 is offered and taken about his doing 112, and level money about his completion of 110.
