latoati&as of the Government.
The Thames Eaiiway.
The Loan.
The Government intend to postpone the Regulation of Elections and lieadjustment of Seats' Bill, stating that both require more attention than can be given this session, and unless a dissolution is wanted there is plenty of time for the Readjustment Bili. The franchise to women, except to those on the ratepayers' roll, will not be granted ; even iv the House the clause will bo reamended. The House will rise early in December. No new works will be undertaken, but the works in hand will be proceeded with, including the Thames railway. The statement is correct about the loan, and now the Government will feel the injustice they did the country in cutting down the last loan. The one and a-half million then refused would save the country now.
