The Intercolonial Rifle Match.

This match, which lakes place next Saturday afternoon, is creating a good deal of interest in shooting circles, and if the duy is at all five some brilliant shooting will he made, as the four teams are very fairly matched, and each of them

numbers some of the hottest shots in tho Thames district. The contest will con-

sist of ono match at 200, 400, and 500

yards—2l shots in all, and the competitors will bo ten English, ten Irish, ten Scotch, and ten Colonials. The match is a friendly on«—the three lowest teams to entertain the highest afc supper. So far us wo have been able to ascertain the following will constitute members of each team :—English—Stone, Hirst, Price, Clark, Reynolds, Thomat J., Thomas A., Kendall, Fngg. and Lawless. Irish— Armstrong, McEee, Clarke G. S., Long, i Cochrano, Wilcox, Hennelly, Feuton, Willis and Woods. Scotch—Murray, Day, Weir, McLeod, Cameron, McLean, Heron, Downic. Mitchell, and Jamieson. Colonial—Lawlor. Parslow, Gavin, Gray, Gordon J. A., Walker, Newdick, Dare, Wilson, and Gordon J. The match will commence on the Government range sharp at one o'clock. Petty Officer Potts, of the Naval Brigade—tho district marker —will have charge of the targets, and each team will have a captaiu, and one or two wailing men.
