The caucus of Ministerialists was held at eleven, when 42 members were present.

Ministers submitted their proposals to resign when a resolution was passed unanimously approving of the course proposed.

Sir G. Grey proceeded to the Government House, and laid the resolution before the Governor.

It is understood that Sir G. Grey will not tender any advice; but if advice is requested, he will advise the Governor to send for Mr Macandrew.

Some of the Opposition members have gono over to the tioverment, being disgusted at the narrow majority.
