It is understood the Governor has accepted the resignation of Ministers, and it is expected he will send for Mr Hall.
In the event of Mr Hall being called upon to form a Ministry, the following will probably compose the Government: —Hall and Bollostou or Wakefield fer
Canterbury ; O!iv»r, Duisedin ; WhUaker, snnr., to be called !o tin- Upper House, and made Attorney-General, to represent Auckland ; Atkinson, Tararialri ; Ormond. Napiur, if he will accept; there is some diflicully as to W cliington, but it is thought Bryco or Johnston will be selected.
The Opposition meet at the Occidental to night to celebrate their victory.
