_. Monday It is reported that the second B.M. for Wellington will be M. Price. George Darrell yesterday was served with a writ for £2000 at the instance of instance of the proprietors of the Satur-
day Advertiser for alleged libel contained in a handbill published here. Dorrell is about to issue a counter writ against the Advertiser for £5000. Cable news from Home states the new steamer llotoraahana left London on the 9th inst,, and is expected 1o arrive ia Melbourne on the 24th September.
