AUCKLAND.
This day. The Waikato train last night ran across a cow. The engines and two trucks passed over the body, but about a dozen trucks were thrown off the track, and smtained no injury. The passengers and inaiU were forwarded to their destination in a coal truck which had crossed over the cow. The Bay Coal Company report shews that 19 848 tons of coal were sold for half a year. The mail steamers now use the coal. A dividend of 10 per cent, has been declared.
