The Inspector of Miners' Eights, Mr Mcllhone, is here, busily engaged on native matters. Several cases will come before the Warden in consequence of his visit. A running match, one mile, for one hundred and fifty pounds, comes off on the twenty-fourth February, between McNeil of Coromandel, and Brown, of Mercury Bay. The money is all down.
