m ■■ •■■• ■' :■ : The steamer Hauraki went ashore norni of the Waitara River. Her rudder-chain parted. The tide is leaving her dry; The hull was injured but very little. There is no hope of getting her off in the present state of the sea. Her cargo is being landed. She was insured for £1500.
