Thames Harbor Board.
The usual monthly meeting of the Board was held at the Borough Council Chambers last night. Mr W. Davies occupied the chair, and there were also present—Messrs Wilson, Price, Gibbons, Bagnall, Spencer, and Meunie. ' " MINUTES. ; The minutes of the previous' meeting were read and confirmed. Adams Vrote -asking for the use.of an allotment on the foreshore opposite Fraser andTinne's shed, for the purpose of collecting the old tailings on it; and ho offered to pay a pound a week for the right. . , . -. ; It appeared that the allotment applied for had been pegged out. by Price Bros, for a. ship building yard. •■■ • , ; ' On the motion of Mr Gibbons, seconded by Mr Mennie, it was decided, to let- the application stand. over .until Mr Adams had given .further particulars. . < • < >v

C.E.:—•• To the Thames Harbour Board: Gentlemen, —I have the honour herewith to forward preliminary plans, &c, of .proposed new wharf at Tararu. You 'wilj.see,l upon.reference to the plan, that I propose making a new wharf 1400.feet'Io;3g;(wtiieh' is about the- same as the: present wharf), and ten (10ft) feet wide, and. constructing a T at the end 60 feet long anil 20 feet; wide, .the" new wharf to" be ; thre.e feet' higher throughout than the present wharf, 1 which will give about 6£ feet from high waler spi ing-ti.de .' to floor of wharf.
