Damage Done by the Bad Weather.

Notwithstanding that the recent bad weather had not been what might bo called very heavy, considerable damage has been done by it. At Tapu yesterday, two cutters —the Lady Rath, belonging to Mr R. Hawkes, and the Tartar, the property of Mr G. Dower—were driven ashore, and a considerable amount of damage done to both of the vessels. The road to Tapu, both within the Borough and County boundaries, is considerably the worse of the heavy surf which has been running for the past two or three days, the sea-wall being in some places quite destroyed. Th^ sea-wall between Grabamstown and Trraru is also damaged to the extent of perhaps £20 or £30.
