The manager, Mr Carnie, of Alma tribute, retorted this morning, the result being 50|ozs of gold. About 140 tons of stuff were put through the battery in 14 day's for above return, and which is considered payable.
, The Phcenix. —Mr C. Comes, the manager, has great difficulty in getting the battery to work properly. The quartz put through shows very well on the plates, and there is every probability of this mine becoming dividend paying.
