ACADEMY, OF MUSIC.
At this place of amusement, Clifford's Mirror of the World was shown on Saturday night to a rather snail though appreciative audience, the paucity of which can easily be accounted for by the counter attraction of Levy's concert, lhe nrst portion of the entertainment consisted of. views on the river Thames, every place of interest on the river from head to source being faithfully depicted by the aid of the powerful lime light, some beautiful photographs of statuary were also thrown on the screen, besides a number of views of London, etc. Mr Clifford announced at the conclusion of the entertainment that to-night's entertainment would be of a miscellaneous character, aa views from places in all parti of the world would be exhibited. This announcement was received with loud applause by the audience. - :-; .
