THIS DAY. (Before If. Goldsmith and J. Skene, Esqs., J's.P.) DBUWKBWKBSS. Elizabeth Mclntosh and Francis Sane were charged with drunkenness, and were each punished in the usual manner. a nuisance. - Luther Gubb was charged with unlawfully depositing night soil in a place other than that appointed by the regulations of the Thames Borough CounciL . Defendant pleaded guilty. Mr J. B. Mason said that Gubb had taken the night soil to Mr Bright's allot* ment instead of the proper- place—Mr Cribb's. He thought that Mr Gubb had made a mistake, and would not press for a heavy penalty. Defendant said he used to deposit the night soil at Bright's, and did not know that it had been changed to Gribb's. The Bench cautioned defendant, and , let him go. x ■ I INDBCBHT LUtOtXAQB. Joseph We*ton,ainiall b°y, was charged with using indecent language in a public place, to wit the Shortland wharf. Defendant pleaded guilty.
