To-day the retort:ng for the fortnight took place for the return of 1092 ounces of gold. This is the yield of about 400 tons of general stuff, including the stuff from the winze.

Kneebone and party completed their crushing at the company's battery this morning for a return which, oh being melted at the Bank of New Zealand, amounted to 59ozs 12dwts gold.

Thomas and party also finished their crushing' to-day for the result of Bozs 13dwts gold. Christie and party's crushing finished' to-day produced 19ozs of retorted gold.
