Tenders were received up to yesterday for Binking the shaft for the new level. There were only four, tenders, and the. differenca in price per foot w.as only 8s; They have been sent to Auckland for approval by the directors. The repairs to the shaft are proceeding, and the. manager hopes to complete them by this evening. The tributers have resumed-work, and at present they are making use of the Queen of the May shaft until the repairs to the company's one are finished..
