Driving at the bottom of the winze on the No. 6 reef is proceeding, and though no gold can be seen 'in the stone at present, the reef, which of late has been split up, is now assuming a more eosnpact appearance. Mr Crawford, the manager, expects that the drives will be at the junctions of the reef with the cross leaders by Monday or Tuesday.
