CALEDONIAN.
There is nothing particular to report in connection with the Otago reef, as at present the. contractors: are employed timbering, and operations will not be recommenced till Monday. The timbering is absolutely necessary,- as the ground was becoming dangerous, in fact the other day one of the men hurt his foot through some falling mullock.
