Native Volunteer Corps.
The monthly inspection of the Thames Native Volunteer Corps took place on Saturday, after which the District Belt, won by Vol. Hotini Karewa with the five score of 68 points, or 8 over an average of centres, was presented by Captain Paul, the Secretary of the Belt Committee. Captain Taipari also took advantage of this, parade to present the company's belt to Vol. Tiomita Karaua, a young member of the corps. The firing for this belt took place on Saturday morning. It will be seen by the scores given below, thatHotinitooksecond place.
