Accident at the Queen of the May Mine.

This morning about half-past eight o'clock a miner named Thomas Goldsworthy, who was employed at the lower level, his work being timbering part of the drive, had a narrow escape. A quantity of stuff fell upon him inflicting a severe bruise on his left arm besides several bruises on the head. He was taken to the hospital, and there his injuries were at once attended to.
