PUMPING ASSOCIATION.
The .work of getting the pieces of-<he balance bob down the shaft is still going on. During the last two or three days some of the heavier timbers, including the bed-Jogs, have been got into position down below and to-day several of the large castingswere got down safely. The new' contractors for the extension of the North crosscut continue to make good progress; This party employ several hands more than the former party did.
