The quarterly licensing meeting for the districts of Thames and Hauraki was held in the Court House; Shortland, at noon to day. Present—J. Brown, E. Workman, and W. Souter. .■-■.-• Distbict or Thames. TBANSFEBS OF MCENSE. . Eliza Hurfit, Theatre Eoyal Hotel, Grahainstown, to Henry Eoche. The Bench said that Mr Eoche would have to promise to reside on the premises if the license was gianted. •
Mr Eoche promised to reside on the premises and accept all responsibility, and the license was granted.
Simon Coombe, Saracen's Head Hotel, to James N. Copland. Granted. John Fogarty, Prince Arthur Hotel, to E. Fogarty. Granted. John Lynch, Imperial Hotel, Shortland, to John Fogarty. Granted. Bichard Eichards, George Hotel, Grahamstown, to the Graharastown Hotel, Grahamstown. Granted. . This was all the business.
