District Prize Firing.
The firing for the 2nd set of District Prizes was completed this day. The ranges were 200, 400 and 50pyaids, seven shots at each range. Targets 6x4 feet, centre iJ feet, bull's-eye 8 inches at 200 yards, 6x6, centre 4 feet, bull's-eye 2 feet square at 400 and 500 yards. We give below the best scores and the names of the prize winners, and the prizes. Last year the lowest prize in this set was won with a score of 55 points, this year no score under 57 took a prize.- No; 2 H.R/V. took the first two prizes, the T.S.V. secured 4 prizes, the Bangers/1,: and the Native Corps 4 prizes. Joynt, of No. 3, just missed a prize with a score of 57 points. ' .
