CIVIL SIDE.
In the following cases judgment was given for the plaintiff with costs:— George Vesey Stewart v. J. McGeehan. —Claim, £13, goods, and costs £4 10s. Judgment Summons, knight v. howabd. Claim, £6 6s 6d. There was no appearance of either party. Order that defendant pay 5s per week, failing any payment to undergo one month's imprisonment at Mount Eden. Defended Casks. mclaughlin v. bed queen g.m.co. In this case His Worship had post* poned judgment till to-day. He said he had considered the matter, and would now give judgment for defendant. Costs, £llls. .■...'. (The Court here adjourned till tw) o'clock, as Mr Macdonald was retained for the rest of the defended cases, and couldn't attend at the proper time in consequence of the Harbor Board election.)
