DEUNKENNESS

Martin Glynn on remand was charged with being drunk and incapable in Willoughby street, Shortland, on the 17th instant.

Defendant said he was all right this morning. He was quite sober. His Worship said he had remanded him till to-day because he was not sober, but now he would tell him that if he was drunk again he would have to go to Mount Eden. This time he would be fined 10s and costs or 24 hours' imprisonment.

Mr Bullen consented to the withdrawal of the charge of vagrancy.
