This clay. Union Beach..—Nothing of consequence from the mine to report. Harbor View. — A new leader, 10 inches wide, cut 15 feet ft\ m the large lode, is turning out very well. A few pounds good specimens taken out. This has made prospects bright in the mine. The Albatross arrived at 11 p.m. last night with busbmen for Whangapoua and few passengers, and returned at once to Auckland.
At the Licensing Court to-day an application by T. B. Scott for the" Albion Hotel was granted. An application for transfer by John Mace, Saddle Hotel, was granted. John Thomas, transfer for Star and Garter- Hotel, granted. "
