The fire brigade held a torchlight procession last night, which, was successful, and a supper afterwards. Another butch of petitions to Sir George Grey and other members, calling on them to resist the Government word by word, was despatched by the Taupo to-day, with 368 signatures, making a total of 1855 electovs :
Arrived : Southern Cross from Napier.
