THE ALBION.
' The Albion is promising to bo a splendid mine from present indications. Over lCDlbs of specimens have been' bagged from Kelly's reef. A parcel of 30 tons is being put through and a good retrvn is expected, the quality of the general stone - from the aame reef being very good. As much may be said of the Young American reef, from which 29 tons have been'put through- the mill, and a further lot is now accumulating. The Young American stone has given amalgam which alone indicates 2ozs to the ton, and the blanketings have not yet been treated, so that a capital yield may be looked for from this lode" when the general retorting takes place. The sudden change ?n the prospects of the Albion mine is calculated to inspire many of the " hearfc-sick and weary" with renewed hope as to the locality in which that mine is situated.
